My name is Angelique and I am a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at World Gym in Kelowna, BC. I fell in love with fitness in my early 20's and was intrigued with how the human body response with proper nutrition and exercise. I decided then that I would change my career and become a personal trainer. I love helping people reach their goals whether it is fat loss, or prep for their first competition which I really enjoy doing.
I have been interested in competing for quite some time and finally did so in 2008 at Fame West in North Vancouver. It was overwhelming and decided to come back strong in 2009. This year was a better and busier year for me in the competition world when I placed fifth in my first figure competition at Fame West in North Vancouver, then going off to the WBFF in Richmond placing 4th in figure. My best competition so far was just this past October 24th at the Fame Canadian Nationals taking 2nd place in fitness model out of twenty five competitors.
My future goals are to achieve my pro card in Fitness Model and Figure through Fame, and also start working on the same goals with the WBFF in Fitness Model. My next show is the BCABBA Western Canadians right here in Kelowna so I am already pretty pumped to do something local!

I eat strict 80-90% of the time and when I diet for a competition, I do not leave room for error. I stay away from temptations and get the bad food out of the house.
I train hard all the time and my body seems to be getting more muscular every year. I am a very short and have a small frame so putting on muscle can sometimes be a challenge. I love training and cannot wait for my next show in April!
I love my job and helping others achieve their fitness and weight loss goals. Nothing makes me happier when I see others get fitter and leaner. I have had a lot of success with my clients and will continue to help others achieve their success for as long as I am in this industry.
