How Did You Get Started?
I started training in college at 18 years old. I took a bodybuilding course 1 (beginner) and it was great to understand all the bodybuilding concepts and all the different training types. (Tempo, reps, etc) Over the next year I took bodybuilding course 2 (advance). Since then I have never stop training. I obtained a membership at a gym close to my home called "DJ Gym" and the results were fast and amazing as I was tall and a little skinny when I started!
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
It is difficult for me to gain weight and I get lean easily. Therefore I train with medium and heavy weights. I train three days a week with four exercises for each body part and between eight to twelve reps. I do all the basics exercises, nothing too complex and the results are there!!
Day 1: Back & Triceps
Day 2: Shoulders & Triceps
Day 3: Legs, calf & abs
Since my chest is already big enough and my goal is to be proportional and symmetrical, I skip this body part or train one chest exercise every two weeks.
Sometimes I change my training to do super sets.
Day 1: Shoulders & Back
Day 2: Biceps & Triceps
Day 3: Legs, calf & abs
I never do cardio, I'm just a lucky to have a fast metabolism!!
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Mmmmm there is no magic supplements, to obtain great result there is one thing do to: EAT WELL, because I believe it is your best tool for growth. Nothing beats being consistent with your diet seven days a week. Remember this: YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!
Why Do You Love Bodybuilding?
Bodybuilding brings me so many good things. It helps me understanding how my body works and how it responds to different diets. I can use it in everyday meals when I’m not on diet. While understanding the three mains categories (Protein, fat & carbs) and adjusting it to obtain the results I desire.
After many years of training and learning about this sport (for me it is a lifestyle) and I can adapt my training to sculpt my body. I want to do the right exercises I need to grow my weak body parts and then be symmetrical and proportional.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
My goal is to always improve my physique and to be better than the year before!
Now my dream is to be on the cover of a Fitness Magazine ... To obtain a Fitness/underwear/fashion modeling contract!!!
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Train hard, eat well and train natural. It will take longer to obtain results, but it worth it and you will keep you shape longer. Take your time, train well and it will pay off!!!!
